The Opportunity:
Are you ready to dive into the hustle and bustle of recruitment? We’re looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant who’s not afraid to pick up the phone, connect with people, and make things happen—all while having fun and building a meaningful career!
After working through our tailored trainee program, designed to give you the best understanding of recruitment, people, and our industry, you will work within a high-performing team and provide support to our account management leaders. In this role, you’ll help ensure the organisation attracts, selects, and maintains communication with the best talent to deliver our business strategy. Plus, as you grow, there will be opportunities to move into other areas of the business, allowing you to explore a variety of career paths within our organisation.
Who we are:
We are the trusted experts in project management resourcing, creating new opportunities for our clients and candidates in mining, energy, and infrastructure. Our deep industry knowledge ensures we match quality candidates with quality roles to deliver project success. We are passionate about connecting people and working smarter to find the perfect fit — for our candidates and our clients — so that everybody wins.
Why join Concentis? - We encourage professional development for all our staff via a mix of internal/external training and access to our paid professional development initiative from day one.
- We are a business that deals with large organisations - our client base includes some of the largest publicly listed resource companies, including Rio Tinto, South32 and Newcrest, to name a few.
- Access to the latest cutting-edge sourcing technology, including your own LinkedIn Recruiter License.
- Generous remuneration, incentives, fun, and excellent team culture. We incentivise high performance; we celebrate our wins and review our (very few) losses – usually with a fun team-building activity.
- Continuous career development and progressions. Some of our previous trainees are now in roles such as Account Managers or Mining Consultants.
- Ability to earn monthly commissions on every placement. This means for every person you help place in a role you receive commissions, and have no threshold or cap you have to reach to see it in your paycheck!
But wait, there's more: - 17.5% leave loading– get paid more when you take leave!
- Extra annual leave – including 5 paid weeks of annual leave and an extra day off for your birthday!
- WFH on Fridays, unless you enjoy the fun, casual vibes from the office.
- Flextime: Flexible start and finish to suit personal preferences
- Early finish on Fridays, but you'll often find us celebrating the end of the week.
- We're a team who loves to indulge. Nespresso coffee always on hand, fruit boxes each week, regular team lunches at fancy city venues, and more than enough Mentos to curb that 2pm slump.
Here is what you will get to do: - Develop your search/recruitment/sourcing skills.
- Develop your marketing/digital media skills.
- Build a vast professional network within the resources and mining industry.
- Connect with key decision-makers and build an individual reputation and personal brand.
- Impact the lives and recruitment experience for hundreds of people during their career.
- Help organisations and leaders source and secure the very best talent in the market, allowing their business to grow and succeed.
About You:
The successful candidate will likely be:
- Customer service focused.
- Exposed to sales, retail, call centre or customer-facing roles.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology savvy.
- Committed to the team.
- Coachable and a quick learner.
If this is sounding like the career move you’ve been looking for, please apply with your resume and we will be in touch accordingly through the shortlisting process.
