Concentis has partnered with a leading engineering consulting firm to resource a highly skilled Project Manager to work on a portfolio of tailings dam and surrounding infrastructure projects.
As a
Project Manager, you would be expected to lead the delivery of high-impact projects focused on tailings dam design, construction, and remediation. Based in Brisbane, you will play a critical role within our collaborative consulting environment, ensuring technical excellence, commercial performance, and stakeholder alignment across a diverse portfolio of mining clients.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end project delivery across feasibility, detailed design, execution, and close-out stages.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and schedules while ensuring financial targets and profitability are achieved.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including geotechnical, civil, and environmental engineers.
- Act as the primary client liaison, building strong, trusted-advisor relationships.
- Drive project risk management, compliance with statutory guidelines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and technical staff.
About You: - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
- Excellent client engagement, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks (QLD-specific dam safety standards).
- Tailings project experience
