Concentis has been engaged by one of our valued Tier-1 Mining clients to source 2x Civil Project Engineers to work out of their Perth head office.

This position will form part of our client's Major Projects – Studies team and migrate into Major Projects Execution.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned packages as part of a mine development project.
Responsibilities - Ensure the Study’s objectives are achieved in line with the Engineering Services Provider (ESP) agreed Scope of Work.
- Create Project Scopes, Project Management Plans and work schedules
- Contribute to the review of all ESP Study deliverables.
- Constructively participate in all design and safety reviews while proactively supporting workplace safety, design and environmental standards and procedures.
- Attend and meaningfully contribute to planning and operations meetings
- Be actively involved in safety and risk, including hazard reporting and safety investigations
- Contribute to ongoing site improvement initiatives
- Contribute to processes, procedures, reporting and QAQC systems
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly reports.
- Support geotechnical field service crews as and when required.
- Partake and run weekly engineering design meetings to manage ESP performance against schedule and cost.
- Understand regulatory and other requirements associated with the design, construction, management, and infrastructure delivery.
- Proactively engage in seeking both economic and safe solutions to infrastructure development.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience - Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating objective and critical thinking.
- The ability to respond in a timely, professional, and comprehensive manner to requests.
- Have a positive, flexible and dynamic approach.
- Advanced computer literacy and business software skills
- Prepared to make, own, and learn from mistakes
- Proficiency in English
- 5+ years of experience in the mining/mineral processing industry and preferably 8+ years in project engineering.
- Project delivery, planning, and/or project controls experience in major project/program development and execution in mining or heavy industry.
- Experience in working with diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience working in a project environment within the mining industry is preferred.
- Experience in the development and delivery of discipline engineering and project deliverables.
- Degree qualified in mining, civil engineering, or related discipline.
