Senior Contracts Advisor to support a major project portfolio with a Tier 1 mining client. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex project environments, enjoys working across diverse stakeholders, and is passionate about driving value through strong procurement and commercial practices.
This is a Brisbane based, Monday to Friday role on a
12-month contract with a strong possibility of extension, offering you the chance to make a lasting impact across high-profile projects.
About the Role As the Senior Contracts Advisor, you will:
- Guide and support owner’s teams and EPCM partners on procurement and commercial matters.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of major contracts, from strategy and negotiation through to execution and close-out.
- Provide expert commercial advice to project leaders and contribute to key project reviews.
- Drive improvements in procurement processes, practices, and systems across the project portfolio.
- Mentor and develop team members, contributing to a strong commercial capability within the business.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial advisory within large-scale projects.
- Proven ability to manage complex contracts and negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial frameworks, and industry standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing others
