The Opportunity: As the
Onboarding Administrator, you will work closely with our Gladstone team to provide a quality, people-first approach to onboarding for all our contractors, utilising systems, external providers and our internal operations team to help make this possible.
This is a varied role with a broad range of tasks, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support hiring and onboarding activities for our new contractors such as booking medicals, inductions, system set up and compliance across multiple sites
- Utilise and maintain databases with accuracy
- Maintain reports and schedules
- Support Gladstone team with recruitment searching as required
- Provide accurate and timely administrative support to the finance team + recruitment team
- Managing contract extensions and communication with our workforce and clients
- Coordinate workplace health and safety initiatives
- Develop and improve our systems when needed to ensure smooth operations for all
Role Requirements:
- Previous experience in an onboarding or mobilisation role
- Mining, heavy industry, or construction background is highly beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Technology Savvy
- Data-driven– ability to capture and record important data with accuracy
- A can-do attitude, if you love to “get the job done” and understand how important everyone’s role is to achieve overall business success then we want to hear from you!
Experience using Avetta, Browse, Astute Payroll, medical booking platforms or other HR platforms will be highly beneficial. We are in the process of exploring new platforms and welcome experience in HRM software.
