Concentis, we have partnered with a global mining company to find a Lubrication Technician with prior experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a Fixed Plant to join our dynamic team!
Join our dynamic team as a Lubrication Technician with our Tier 1 Asset Owner group located in
far north Queensland. We're seeking individuals who are passionate about lubrication maintenance and eager to contribute to our progressive team environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside condition monitoring and reliability engineers, with exposure to cutting-edge technology. The roster for this position is
12:9, on a
FIFO basis with a
2-year contract – view to extend after this.
Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive lubrication maintenance tasks on a wide range of mechanical fixed plant equipment, including crushers, conveyors, and pumps.
- Conduct regular lubricant inspections, sampling, and analysis to ensure equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop effective lubrication schedules and procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for optimisation through lubrication improvements.
- Utilise advanced lubrication techniques to minimise friction, wear, and downtime.
- Participate in equipment shutdowns and overhauls to provide expert lubrication support.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of equipment specifications and manufacturer recommendations.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or maintenance concerns related to lubrication systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of lubrication processes and procedures.
About You - Possess a Mechanical fixed plant fitter trade certification with over 10 years of experience.
- Proven specific experience in lubrication maintenance.
- Ability to access high walkways and navigate difficult access areas with safety at the forefront.
- Training across SOS, L-Cat, NDT, and bearings.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
