We are seeking a motivated
Health & Safety Advisor to join our team and support operations across a busy industrial environment. This permanent position will suit an experienced safety professional with a background in heavy industry, manufacturing, resources, or related sectors.
This is a hands-on role. You'll work closely with teams in the field and office to ensure a safe, compliant, and supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and promote workplace health and safety initiatives
- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and management of change processes
- Conduct incident investigations (ICAM desirable) and implement corrective actions
- Monitor occupational hygiene and ergonomics requirements
- Assist with auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement programs
- Provide coaching and advice to operational teams and management
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in OH&S, risk management, or equivalent experience
- Experience within heavy industry, manufacturing, or similar operations
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Auditing and/or ICAM investigation qualifications (advantageous)
- Hands-on and proactive approach to safety in the workplace
