At Concentis, we are partnering with a major water infrastructure provider to deliver critical new water and wastewater infrastructure to support growth on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The project will deliver new pipelines, pump stations, and storage reservoirs for local communities, supporting up to 70,000 residents by 2050.
We are seeking a skilled
Electrical Engineer to supervise contractor activities related to electrical installations and automation systems across water infrastructure facilities.
DETAIL OF ROLE: You will manage and oversee the performance of contractors, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electrical systems including power distribution, instrumentation, and automation components within treatment plant environments.
You’ll collaborate with commissioning, operations, and engineering teams to ensure electrical works align with project and safety requirements.
LOCATION/ROSTER: Sunshine Coast based | Monday–Friday | 3 month contract
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Supervise electrical contractor activities across water and wastewater project sites
• Review and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with WHS standards, electrical codes, and site procedures
• Provide input on electrical design, automation, and instrumentation systems
• Monitor progress and resolve technical issues to avoid delays
• Liaise with commissioning teams to support electrical handover and start-up
• Conduct inspections and oversee testing, pre-commissioning, and energisation of systems
ABOUT YOU: • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 6–8 years’ experience in site supervision of electrical works
• Prior experience in water/wastewater treatment facilities highly desirable
• Knowledge of automation systems, instrumentation, and electrical commissioning
• Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing multiple contractors and ensuring project milestones
