A leading Australian-owned engineering consultancy is searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Design Technician – Civil to support the delivery of landmark infrastructure and urban development projects across Sydney NSW.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in North Sydney working predominantly onsite. 

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Design Technician – Civil, this role will see you:
  • Delivering high-quality road and civil infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Collaborating with engineers and drafters to prepare documentation aligned with internal standards
  • Assisting with occasional engineering reports and site inspections
  • Applying quality assurance practices across drafting documentation
  • Supporting project delivery through smart time management and clear communication
  • Growing your career through mentoring and structured development from senior civil professionals
 What You'll Bring:
  • 3-5 years of relevant civil drafting experience
  • A recognised qualification in engineering, drafting or similar
  • Competency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and an understanding of construction standards
  • Ability to interpret civil design concepts and turn them into practical documentation
  • A self-motivated and a collaborative approach, with a commitment to continual learning
  • Great communication skills and a proactive team-based mindset
