Concentis is seeking a
Civil Project Engineer to join our site-based delivery team. This role is ideal for a civil engineer with strong site-based experience who is ready to support the successful delivery of a Haul Road project. The position will oversee execution planning, contractor engagement, procurement, and site-based delivery to ensure project success.
This role is on a 12-month rolling contract, on a 9:5 FIFO roster.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and reporting.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and design consultants throughout project phases.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and resources for execution.
- Oversee site delivery of bulk earthworks and contractor-led culvert installations.
- Conduct geotechnical investigation planning and scope development.
- Ensure technical design assurance, quality control, and compliance with standards.
- Monitor project progress, manage approvals, and maintain accurate records.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimise project disruptions.
Performance Objectives - Deliver the project safely, on time, and within budget.
- Ensure adherence to quality, design, and safety standards across all activities.
- Build strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Proactively manage risks and drive solutions during execution.
- Provide consistent updates and reporting to the Project Lead and leadership team.
Key Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of construction project experience, ideally within bulk earthworks and/or culvert installation.
- Previous exposure to large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing or coordinating design consultants is desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of earthworks and civil construction processes.
- Effective planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to safety, proactive attitude, and high personal integrity.
