Concentis was engaged to place a specialist Project Controller to oversee their project operations portfolio in Australia and abroad.

Our Project Controls Specialist was placed with client South 32 as a corporate asset overseeing the company’s large project portfolio. 

South32 is a globally diversified mining and metals company producing bauxite, alumina, aluminium, energy and metallurgical coal, manganese, nickel, silver, lead and zinc in Australia, Southern Africa and South America.

With over 20 years specialising in planning and cost control on large-scale mining and gas projects, our specialist brings vast experience in project controls from study, design and construction through to commissioning on a variety of contract models.

Concentis’ Project Controls Specialist is highly-skilled in Primavera P6, Primavera Risk and MS Project as well as a variety of project management software including Naviswork, Prism, CMS, Prediction +, PM+, SAP and @Risk. 

Our Project Controls Specialist was embedded in the client’s corporate team to:

• Perform cost and schedule reviews for local and international projects
• Undertake project reviews including subsequent reporting and recommendations
• Maintaining company-wide project control standards, guidelines and tools with process improvements
• Provide input into and training in the use of project control systems and software
• Travel between company locations as required.

With a focus on continuous improvement, our Project Control Specialist is assisting our client in enhancing their systems and delivery capabilities.
